I forgot to mention that if your natural hair is a lot thicker than mine, it will be great to split your natural hair into three across the three ends of the braiding hair in order to avoid bulkiness… Hope that makes sense! 🤗 March 14, 2020 Reply Will My Cat Eat This? March 16, 2020 Reply THISWORLDIS CRAZY Cute…👌 March 16, 2020 Reply myasar Hello.. i have a question..I am well aware that box braids on a non-black person is put by default under cultural appropriation. But here’s the thing, it is a protective hairstyle. I am middle eastern with a type 3A-3B curly hair that is prone to breakage since it is processed and i wanna grow it out. having a protective hairstyle will save me a lot of hassle in my daily life, and since i have the appropriate hair texture required to have this type of a protective hairstyle, can i still do it? Im not doing it for the aesthetic, i’m doing it for the benefits and the functionality. I genuinely do not want to offend anyone by having it. I am well aware and well educated on the history of black hairstyles and protective hairstyles in general since i’m a hair-nerd myself. My hair needs the protection boxbraids provide for it to grow out in a healthy way March 16, 2020 Reply Lisa Green Simply beautiful 😊 March 16, 2020 Reply Mia Sanford This is so creative March 16, 2020 Reply Nadeige Yang Amazing March 16, 2020 Reply nicole andrew This tutorial was soo helpful so very detailed, great method, I have been trying to do box braids for a while now but they failed horribly, and jus couldn't get a solution, they came out BOM and u are bueatiful woman, March 16, 2020 Reply Kenya OMG wish I would've saw this when i did my little girls hair she has very slick stringy hair and I don't know how to braid I think this would have been great to try on her March 16, 2020 Reply Natasha Wambui Do you mind sharing your hair products.
